The GFC (Golden Fried
Chicken) Café brand has been growing
in Australia for more than 20 years. The
original Golden Fried Chicken product was
introduced to the market place in 1986 as
an add-on chicken and chip system to existing
businesses.
The
product was so popular in the market place
with consumers and business operators due
to the simple, ease of operation and healthy
profit margins for licensed operators of
the system, that franchising was the obvious
next step.
GFC
Café was developed successfully thanks
largely to the sought after proprietary
blend of additives that is essential in
the creation of the real Golden Fried Chicken
products. Today the GFC Café concept
also offers a broader range of product lines
such as burgers, wraps, sandwiches and subs.
A
breakfast menu has been added along with
a popular extensive range of food including
desserts, espresso coffee and a complete
menu of hot and cold drinks to complement
the strong brand packaging and well branded,
GFC Café style concept.
In
2006, GFC Café Pty Ltd became a franchisor,
to assist franchisees in the development
of the brand and monitor the progress of
the system in individual sites while providing
support, and adding reporting systems and
marketing resources to effectively grow
the brand throughout Australia.
There
are now 160+ franchisees and licensed sites
in all states of Australia.
